First time, will repeat. First time here at a restaurant we have thought about for years. Really enjoyable experience , great food, good and friendly service and a fab wine list. Will be back.

Excelente A pesar de la fecha de nuestra visita, en tiempos donde la hostelería se está viendo tan castigada, ha sido todo un placer visitar y degustar la cocina de Albert & Simón. Trato cercano, amigable y profesional; una carta de vinos excepcional y por supuesto, lo mejor, degustar platos tan variados y sabrosos. No se puede destacar un plato de otro, todos deliciosos. Degustamos Vieiras con trufa y parmesano, tartar de atún con un toque especial, steak tartar perfecto, lubina con tagliatelle y trufa buenísimos; el postre una locura... en resumen, todo perfecto: la atención, el servicio, el local. *** Repetiremos seguro ¡muchas gracias!

Fabulous meal We had a lovely meal in this charming restaurant . There is an extensive menu and an even longer wine list . I opted for the smaller dishes which were a liovely size if you haven’t a huge appetite I chose 4 3 would have been fine The food was delicious service excellent Can’t wait to return

Superb fine dining hidden gem You expect to find this kind of restaurant only in big cities. But this fine dining esablishment hides it light under a bushel. It's unobtrusive exterior, despite the fact it's very close to a main roundabout, means that if you blink, you could miss it. Which would be a terrible thing. Once found and you are welcomed in, the interior is as you would expect in a fine-dine establishment. The menu, although based on French, but undeniably Spanish at the same time, is suitably varied and the wine list is bountiful, if not extensive. Moreover, it's style leans towards the conventional and not the experimental so therefore more geared to an inclusive experience. Also, although this is fine dining - and it really is - the prices won't break the bank. I was welcomed with an amuse-bouche and I started with 6 escargot as a small crust-topped stew, unconventional but delicious (13 euro). I moved on to breaded fillet of sea bass on a bed of spinch with various mousse of vegetables and al dente brocolli and miniature carrot (27 euro). The bass was of exceptional quality as was the cooking. I chose a bottle of Verdejo (24 euro) which although young, was way superior to anything you'd find in wine store shelves of a supermarket. I finished with a Grand Marnier mousse flan with a paired Pedro Ximinez 30 year old sweet wine and a coffee. The total bill came to 93 euro. It wasn't busy when I was there (during February), but it appears that the international diners were mostly regulars, which says something about the quality of the establishment. English French and Spanish are spoken by the knowledgable staff. If you only go out for one decent meal when you're in the area, this is the place to go. Full marks.
